He is a lot closer to Vinny Testerverde then Brady or Rodgers and Vinny was around for a long time too

Easy to think that when you still feel great at 30. There is a big difference between 30 and 35. Your body just changes.

Another issue with Dak is he’s been suffering injuries the past three seasons.

I’ve been accused of being a Dak lover/homer so trust me I’m seeing things clearly. No one here is more honest about him than me. He started regressing after he returned from the calf injury against Denver in 2021. He’s been up and down ever since. He’ll look great one week and terrible the next. The most perfect example of that was in the season finale against a bad Washington team last year when he laid a rotten egg against a rookie QB making their first NFL start and the following week in the playoffs against Tom Brady, he plays one of the best games of his career. The next week against San Francisco he played terrible again. He’s still a real good QB, but I just can’t see him playing at a high level at age 40. Most of the QBs that have are amongst the all-time greats. This is a pretty critical season for Dak, because if he has a rough season the Cowboys may decide not to extend him.
This is exactly how I see him. His problem never was that he can't do it. His problem is that he can't do it on a constant basis. That's the killer right there and keeps hurting us over and over again.

He’s going to get extended in the next 10 months without accomplishing anything
Son do QBs have to win a SB to be accomplished enough to get a new contract? Wow, tell that to Herbert and Allen, Cousins, etc etc etc. Just go ahead and tell it to everyone not names Mahomes and Brady over the past 10 years.

CeeDee better shut the heck up and go finish hanging out with his Nike buddy Kaep. Dak has maxed out his usefulness.
