At some point we have to come to grips at what we have and what has happened. And what won't change.

1. Garrett is here to stay this year. He's not getting fired.
2. Amari took all the suspense out of next year's Day One draft. But, he is ours. There is no going back.
3. Jerry is here until his ticker gives out. Why the acrimony, hooligans?

These three people are not leaving because you and I scream loudly enough.
Nothing is going to change.

My advice is enjoy the season as it unfolds.
It would be nice to win a few, give gruden a middling and not top draft pick.
It would be nice to see Dak connect often with Amari. It would be nice to see Hurns and TWill and maybe Butler hit the road.
It would be nice for Cowboy fans to stop the internecine bickering that divides us.

I feel faint but better. @Furboy, @Melonfeud, @dallasdave get me cape. Hep me off the stage ....

Nice post bro. I agree. Just sit back and see what happens. Jerry isn't resting on his laurels. We are likely closer to the end of the Garrett era than we think but Jerry is going all out just to make sure he can't salvage his puppet. I'm completely unaffected by any of this and actually excited to see Dak and Amari connect. Our Oline desperately needed the bye week. Positive vibes only.

Amati? Lol!!!

Ill enjoy the season but 90% of teams dont make the superbowl when they miss the playoffs so my enjoyment dwindles

I certainly don’t believe we should stop placing pressure on Jerry just because we can’t change his ways.

At least it makes him squirm and studder looking the fool in public trying to explain himself.

It would be like someone who always cuts you off at the intersection but you never flip them off.

This is sport after all so I wish no one anything bad if the team win great if they lose i ain't gonna lose some sleep over it.
Having said that I don't think Jerry and son plan will work but that is my personal opinion.

Scrooge McJerry laughs at you in his vault of money for making him rich on this rotten product

He's not getting rich off me. I don't buy cowboy doodads or tickets, and I ain't a Nielsen house. I'd also rather tangle with an ornery broom tail than butt heads against a crazy billionaire.

The only saving grace is by the time the Cowboys find out about Dak, if he's on a bus out of town Tua can be on a bus in.

great post! I do not see the constant bickering stopping. I am one of the complainers sometimes I admit it.

This is a message board. If we just sat back and accepted everything without analysis or criticism what would we do?

But in all seriousness and as to your points. Re: Garrett; the same people saying he won’t be fired and is guaranteed the rest of this year are the same ones that were saying Sunday night that Jerry would never make a trade. Yet here we are. Garrett’s fate is not guaranteed anywhere. The next two games are nationally televised and unopposed. If this team were to embarrass itself twice don’t be shocked if Garrett were shown the door. Jerry has been in “patient” mode for a long time and I think he’s about ready to go back to knee jerk reacting.

As far as Cooper and Jerry go, yes they are here for better or worse. I disagree that it’s futile for the fanbase to voice their opinion. Jerry and the Jones family in general are very reactionary. I’m sure a month ago they were dead set against trading anything significant to bolster this offense. But as Dak and the offense became more and more of a national joke I knew personally that something was going to change on Monday. Either a trade or a coaching dismissal. Keep the heat on this organization and more changes will come if they continue to crash & burn.
