Just saw this.

Any interest

Could be a name to watch. We liked him when he came out

Bring in Cecil Shorts. Houston let him go- one of the more stacked receiving corps. Shorts was really good only a couple seasons ago. May have been slowed some by injuries but still only 28 yrs and worth a look. At least in the slot. Would be cheap, too. Houston probably doesn't know what they're doing (fielding 2/3 rookie WRs).

Shorts > Beasley... > Butler... and probably > than Williams

Only if Terrence Williams is traded. And maybe not even then. Can Shorts run block? Because our WRs better be monsters at POA until Romo gets back.

I do not see any veterans signed to the roster until after the first game unless that veteran is going to play a lot of snaps. that way the boys will not have to guarantee his contract.

The bolded maybe true, but how long before he sees the field after learning the playbook. The last thing you need for 4-6 weeks Dak is the QB is him telling guys where to line up.

seems like a good time to learn the playbook- at the same time everyone else is, including the qb
