It's a very solid deal IMO.

Assuming we sign Carroll, a SS and trade down from 4

1 - Myles Jack or Elliott, Treadwell if both are gone
2 - QB Lynch
2 - WR like Coleman, Fuller or Dockson
3 - Booker if we haven't taken a RB earlier, CB if so.

Posted previously I like Elliott at #4.....But if I knew I could get Henry at #34, would go with Bosa and Henry... Just think Elliott is special though....

Right, it is a 2 yr 9m deal with 2-4m years if wanted.

If he was cut after one year the cap hits would almost be identical 3.75 vs 4.25

Think its a good deal for a good player. It's not a splash signing, and does not need to be.
Funny, but I have completely flipped on what to do at # 4 - (can't believe I'm saying this) If, big if, they do not take Goff (Wentz is going to Browns). The pick will be Bosa, and I'll be OK with that. Most capologists have him in the top 5. Let's just take him, put him at SDE and WDE becomes Lawrence and Gregory in rotation. We do have 5 picks in top 135. So 2, 3, 4, and 4. Go to another DT (3 or 1) QB - looks like they targeting Prescott. A RB, and I would grab a CB.
Not gonna get everything this year, WR, Safety and LBer with our 4 6th rounders and call it a day ...

If he stays healthy (unlike T McClain) he could really free up the rest of the line in particular Crawford. Thornton should take up all the double teams.
