Lamb and Amari Cooper are 2 of the very best change of direction WRs that I've seen...ever.

I'm not excited about this video. As a slot receiver, he will be in motion quite often and won't need to face a bump and run situation. If he has to do a bump and run then I will pity the fool watching him. He either will have a size advantage (3rd string corner) or a speed advantage (linebacker). Pick your poison.

Logical but very possibly a different reality.

As soon as Lamb starts making big plays..

defenses will change how they play him?

Suppose they move the FS up to cover him?

Checkmate. Suppose they disguise playing him inside outside with a LBer low and safety high?

Or force him to block and not give him a release off the line?

Then other guys get open..right I know.

But the QB still has to read all the coverages and decide what to do in 2.5 seconds.

I think I will wait until we see if he can learn the offense, see the coverages, block for Zeke and scramble when Dak has a breakdown.

It's a process.

Cobb played really well last year in a lot of ways.

I think we may miss his 1000 yards this year.

If Lamb is in the slot and forces their 3rd corner to guard him. Checkmate.

If they use a Lber to guard him. That's another checkmate.

If they roll coverage to Lamb with safety on top that allows for Cooper and Gallup 1 on 1.

If they roll double coverage to either Cooper or Gallup that will free up Lamb in the middle.

Then they have to worry about Zeke running the ball.

If done correctly our offense will produce a lot of mismatches.

Something Garrett would fail to utilize.

Putting breaks in slow motion defeats the purpose. Let's see it full speed so we can actually seem him transition and see how much speed he carries through cuts. All this video shows us is slow motion ankle flection.
