With all due respect to the family and their home, I shudder to think of what a home in need of 50k in charity repair must have been like. I know on really nice houses people can spend 50k just on a kitchen remodel but if they're in such dire straits to be needing the Boys and Girls Club to help, then I'm assuming that 50k repair job was probably not far off the home's value to begin with. Meaning, Lamb probably didn't just fix up a house. No, he probably gave them a sense of security from the elements and the world and the house itself that they didn't have previously. I mean, I live in a cheap part of a cheap city in a cheap state, so maybe my perspective is skewed. But for my house in particular, if you gave me 50k to fix it up, I could damn near tear it down to the foundation and rebuild it altogether. So far for under 10k I've gutted the bathroom and kitchen to the studs and joists and rebuilt them entirely, and repainted the whole house.
There are some really good people in this world. I'm glad he appears to be one of them. Wonderful thing to do. I love their reactions. I love that their home is now safe and sound. Beautiful family.
That's, undoubtedly, an unselfish gesture by CeeDee Lamb. It's nice to see he's as good off the field as he is on it.
I don’t know if you guys got to watch the documentary the Cowboys did on him, but he’s a very hard worker and always has been. High character guy. Some may even say an RKG.
It is great that he is able to share with others in need. Makes me proud to be a Cowboys fan. CeeDee Lamb is a Lion among men. Go Dallas!!!
That is the kind cowboys stories we used to hear about all the time! Kudos to this young man and future superstar who wears the Star uniform proudly!
You're very likely correct, DS, but it says a lot about CeeDee's character and love for his family for he to spend so much money to make sure his family has an improved and certified home to live in for years to come.
