We more screwed than we think.... IMHO CeeDee or Dak don't like each other and I think CeeDee could care less the most. Dak is the company man- he's going to do whatever helps the company. CeeDee is like the union. Only wants what's best for him. Not willing to bend in any direction. Then you have Jerry. He gave everyone a one year deal. So, what do you think everyone is thinking???? Me...Me...Me... McCarthy can't say anything to anybody. They looking at him saying -who are you??? Your butt ain't going to be here next season either. Jerry even can't say anything to Dak or CeeDee. What he going to do? Trade a player with a no trade clause? Trade the other with a bad contract -with a huge cap hit to boot? Man... you really look into the Cowboys window and we're so screwed!! All because of "ONE" worthless GM that put us in this situation. You guys tell me of anybody who can go into the locker room and tell any of these players to get their Ship in order. Minus a crazy Charles Haley? I can't name one. Jerry has figured out how to win-without even trying...He wins regardless of the outcome.

Whose got one year deals other than MM? He's the only one with anything to lose.

Jerry ruined the team by caving and giving Dak and CD deals that make them unaccountable to anyone but themselves. He gauranteed these 2 guys a combined 340M......thus making Jerry the dumbest GM in sports. The team is now hamstrung for the foreseeable future unable to make any signfificant changes if these guys can't carry the offense. After putting up 3 FGs against Detroit, early returns aren't promising.

I don't worry about Dak having a bad attitude or not giving it his all on the football. The thing that bothers me about Dak is that he's simply not that good. He is not a franchise quarterback and yet is the highest paid player in the NFL. A bus driver getting paid top dollar. We all know who the real problem is and why this team will not win while he is still alive.

One is a talented headache at times and has shown he can be good with a below average quarterback throwing to him

The other one is untalented that has rarely if ever shown he can be good with below average pieces around him.

I know which one I side with
Why would you side with either? Personal bias aside they both represent what’s ultimately wrong with this team. Mentally soft overpaid players. Yes Lamb too is overpaid he should get nowhere near what Jefferson gets. He produced regardless of who’s throwing him the ball.

Lamb and Jefferson aren’t of the same caliber. It’s like Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes. Yeah Josh nice but he ain’t Pat. Yall gotta leave the bias the door.
This is nonsense and the comparison to Pat is one of the funniest things you have said. Pat is arguably the goat. Its debatable if Jefferson is even the best receiver in the league (last year he wasnt).

Also, Ceedee’s season last year is on par with Jefferson’s opoy season

It’s debatable? Who is better than Jefferson right now? Even Lamb and his team waited for him to get paid so he can get less lol…..Jefferson is gonna go down as the best receiver of his era just like Mahomes will. All decade team gonna have Mahomes right next to Jefferson.

Who has a no trade clause? I didn't read any of their contracts but I can't recall hearing anything about no trade clause in these new contracts

I wish Ceedee was quicker and got better separation. I wish DAK had a better arm you never know what kind of pass you're going to get with him

I believe Dak still has a no trade. Not sure on CeeDee...One of them obviously needs to go if they can't start playing together.

Highest paid guys are finess guys. They look great vs scrubs but when facing anyone with real toughness they get beat down.
I remember those 90 teams. I ask all to go back and watch the game at the old Texas Stadium when we played The Eagles with Randal Cunningham. I actually felt sorry for the Eagles...I know  But Dallas was hitting them so hard and abusing them it was comical. Cunningham was being crushed. "AHHHHHH" the good ole days:( Now we are getting the exact same medicine. What we need is a young coach like Jimmy was back then. A guy that comes in with an attitude- not a guy looking for the next empty massage table...

Back in the day they were mostly tough guys. The few finess guys didn't last long. Road grading, hard tackling, play through the whistle, fight for the ball on both sides, even the old WR's would beat up on most of todays team. Todays players do not have the mentality like those 90's players had.

This is emotional talk
I also don't understand all the people that think just because you pay a few players you can't keep adding. This is the exact propaganda that the Jones family wants everyone to eat up: that it is the players' fault, not theirs that they cannot construct a winner.

The Eagles and Lions both have QBs making $60mil and $53mil annually along with players all over their roster making top dollar, yet they still add.

It is because GMs that actually care to make it work, can find ways to keep adding talent by massaging the cap and also just accepting the cyclical nature of the league and being fine with a down year or two after a 3-4 year window of going all in.
