CeeDee is back

Hope Schotty doesn't try to force the run if the Oline struggles early to open runing lanes. Immediately go to the pass which is our strength on offense. Allow the pass to open up the run. Stop being stubborn and hard-headed, Schotty.
I don't think we can just completely abandon the run. You have to mix a little of it in to keep the defense from teeing off on Dak. You can't just have him drop back 60 times no matter how bad the run game is. But a 70-30 mix might be the correct formula. If you become completely one dimensional the line won't hold up either.

They've gotta really embrace the score more points identity because the complimentary football philosophy is non existent with regards to the defense.

So, kinda like some Big12 football from a few years back.

Cowboys!

I never said to completely abandon the run, but we can't afford against a very good team like the Commodes in a must win game to not go to our bread and butter (the pass) on offense if we start off struggling right away with the run. Forcing the run, wasting plays and being forced to punt (1,2,3 plays, then punt) is an absolute loser's way to lose this game. That's what happened last week against the Panthers and the Bears. Schotty needs to realize this and make smarter decisions. Allow the pass to open up the run if the run struggles early. Get Jaydon Blue involved on circle routes to the flats, screens and underneath crossers where he can easily maneuver through traffic and beat LBs and Safeties for potential big gains that can help open up the run underneath. Quit being stubborn and stupid, Schotty. Start watching much of how the Longhorns used Blue! My junior high coaches from the early 80s can call plays better! SMH

I'd be pretty happy if we started the best blocking lineman instead of who we drafted first.
