CeeDee has my respect. Yes, he held out to get paid and got his money. He could easily ask to sit down this season, let his shoulder heal and ramp up for next. The kid is battling every week.

Imagine what CeeDee could have had with a great QB.

Unfortunately, Dak is probably going to regress terribly, even more than he did after the first injury. Unless they build up the O-line, he's going to get mauled in every game, because his mobility is going to be almost completely gone.
I doubt it. Dak's surgery was successful and he's expected to make a full recovery. He's only 31, not in his late 30s like Romo was when his mobility was completely gone.

For instance, just a month ago against the Falcons, Dak scrambled in the pocket enough to give his WR to get open and come down with a red zone passing TD.

Dak is still mobile enough in the pocket when needed to be. Granted, he hasn't scrambled downfield anywhere as much as he has in recent years, but it doesn't mean he can't as shown towards the end of this year's Dak highlights...

Do you remember how long it took, after the last injury, for him to start running at all? Expect it to be much worse this time. He's going to lose confidence in himself, even though he'll talk a bit game.

Hey, I hope I'm wrong, and he becomes the greatest QB we've ever seen. After all, he's here for a long, long time.

I hate to be that guy but CeeDee should not play another down this season. If we have to have another elite talent in rehab this offseason I am gonna scream. Micah get your 10 sacks and get back to the bench.

I hear you, Runny. Dak spoke to the media recently. Said he has surgery to re-attach his hamstring a week after his initial injury over a month ago. Said he is getting ready to start running slowly on his leg in another week (part of rehab) and start building up his leg strength. Said his major rehab starts in March and should have him ready to go in time for training camp 2025.

Yeah, there are still a few who think Dak is going to be great...as if he ever was. It's also funny, now that he is not playing, a lot of his fans have not even showed up lately, well, except for the OP who for some dumb reason still thinks Dak is some sort of savior, or even a good QB. That train has left the station!

Oh, yeah, he said all of that, plus, he probably said he will be in the best shape of his career...again for the 9th year!

Fraud...

I agree. And way better than Hurts.
I think both QBs are capable if the team/offense is built right. That includes protection, having a running game and having viable targets. In fact, there are few QBs who can succeed with those things missing. Earlier this season, our protection was poor with two rookies starting, Steele picking up where he left off last year and Martin showing his decline. We also had not figured out an effective run game and Lamb was coming off sitting out the preseason in a contract dispute and then Cook got hurt.

Philly is succeeding (overall) with Hurts this year because those things haven't happened to the Eagles. Last year, Dak was clearly way better than Hurts because we didn't have those issues while the Eagles had theirs. Having a defense that can make a difference when those offenses struggle also helps tremendously.

Let him play. Let him set records. It's about pain management. He wants to play. The fans want to see him. He is a warrior and a dang good football player. The Cowboys couldn't ever have enough players like Lamb.

You will feel differently if he seperates his shoulder next week in Philly. Stop being a fan and look at it from a team building standpoint. Remember in 2020 when Philly could have beaten Washington and helped the Giants make the playoffs. Philly management pulled there starters with a lead and it helped them in the draft. The Eagles were able to use a top 6 pick to get legitimate trade capital that helped create the team they have this day. Of course Booger and son don’t have the stones to make such a call.

what did i say wrong?
I wouldn't bother begging for an answer certainly not for a logical one. . AC is Dak fan FIRST....

Mark my words...see what happens here.

If he even answers it will be something like "2% shy of 50%".

Like G said "under 300 yards for coop". the 292 yards are garbage.

Do I honestly have to answer to y'all's lies? Everyone can see y'all lying. Everyone knows which QB has thrown an overwhelming majority of the time to CeeDee throughout CeeDee's career in Dallas.

Although the accomplishments are admirable, what I most appreciate is that this guy is still putting forth great effort despite an injured shoulder; playing with a backup QB; and doing it even after the team has been officially eliminated from the playoffs. I don't know whether he will play the next two games as he was in hurting pretty badly there in the last quarter. But, he's a warrior and one of the few players that will likely play up to his contract.
I concur. He won my respect on Sunday. No reason to play hurt at this point. Yet he does so anyway. He has heart. That is for sure.

He also became the first Cowboy to have at least 100 receiving yards in the 1st half in consecutive games.
