News: CeeDee Lamb: I'm Ready To Play

Seems like a good kid. Loved his answer when they asked him about what he wants to show on the NFL stage in his first game, "it's not about putting on a show, it's about winning the game!"

I'm getting PUMPED!!! :flagwave:

I know we get excited about our rooks every year and I try and temper my enthusiasm and expectations, but I cant do that this year.
There are going to be a few special ones from this draft.
Yeah, I can’t hold back my excitement for Lamb. He’s pretty clearly unusual in his path, and while very few WR’s make an impact as rookies, I fully expect CeeDee to light it up from jump street.

He decided in the 10th grade that football was what he wanted to do and he became a star in the 10th, 11th, and 12 grades. Then, as a highly recruited player at one of the biggest football schools in the nation, he walked in as a true Freshman and set records for 3 years straight at Oklahoma.

Now, he goes into his first NFL camp with no OTA’s or minicamps and is only the best player in camp.

Yep, I’m going ahead and setting my Rookie expectations for him way up there. Like I said... he’s extraordinary, and I think both his rookie year and his career will be as well.

I still can’t believe that Dallas got him.

He didn't take the bait about returning punts and reveal info....."if I'm back there" smirk....

There's one thing about finding success on the big stage, well actually two, you need to be talented enough to be there and you need to have a good supporting cast. Check both boxes, I think CeeDee fell into the best possible situation to showcase his talent with the least amount of pressure to be "the" guy.

I think we're in for a treat:flagwave:

I hope he is ready. Go get them. Would love to see all 3 WR get 100 yards and a TD. Lol.
