I'll believe it when I see it when he's doing it without Cooper drawing coverage from him. Until then, people can yak away. He also has to catch the ball...and not drop it.

Well, part of the problem is who is going to step up and make plays when defenses are doubling Lamb? Right now with Gallup set to miss time, we're relying on a receiver who was never able to secure a top-three spot on his previous team and a rookie from South Alabama (both of whom are currently sidelined). Maybe Pollard stays in the mix. But the advantage of having Cooper was teams had to respect him, making it difficult to just focus on stopping Lamb.

Dallas doesn't need Cooper. I’m not saying that the absence of Cooper means nothing. He’s one of the best route runners in the game & it’s always valuable to have multiple options to split the defense’s attention.

I just don’t expect it to impact Lamb’s productivity since he’s so versatile.

I expect it to impact a lot. Nobody will draw double coverage initially.
And when they do, nobody can beat double coverage.
