The Cowboys are set to get wide receiver CeeDee Lamb back on the field at Wednesday’s practice.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said at his pre-practice press conference that Lamb will take part in practice for the first time since hurting his ankle in Week 3. Schottenheimer said that Lamb was “very involved” in the team’s walkthrough and indicated he’s moving in the right direction in terms of playing against the Commanders.

Lamb is not the only player scheduled to return to practice. Schottenheimer said wide receiver KaVontae Turpin and right guard Tyler Booker are also expected to participate on Wednesday.

 Showtime

We need these guys back. And others as well.
Yes if they can play two ways ask him if he can play corner maybe Booker can play defensive tackle Well Turpin already plays two positions so we'll keep them there but maybe safety I think I could see him playing corner safety maybe he's the next hunter for us tell him go play two ways now..lol

These types of reports especially after a bad loss, like when Bland came back, always concern me because you know with JJ/Stephen's mindset, they definitely pressure guys to come back sooner than they probably should. Then they get on the field and don't perform like you'd expect they would

What's the over/under on a CeeDee running play on his first game back?
I hope he does so everyone over here just gets angry I think that BS may do it just because he thinks you all are crazy for telling him how he should be calling plays and this isn't the first time or the last time he did this with Mike Mccarthy as well i've seen other receivers doing it I saw Flournoy and Turpin both do it it's just part of the offense people don't understand it his getting hurt is the only reason everyone's angry because he's done it about 40 other times since he's been a cowboy....

Not sooner I thought he could play last week matter of fact if it was a playoff game I think he could have taped it up and played the Green Bay game if you listen to him talk they actually were overly cautious and protected him from himself he could have came back at any time and they actually are doing the right thing this is not too soon.

Why would you think they're desperate to do that george Pickens has been playing great the back up offensive line is playing great flournoy been playing great why do we need any of them back whatever you said just didn't make any sense whatsoever it's not their mindset they're bringing them back when they're cleared to practice and if they can practice without injury and setbacks then they come in and play kind of crazy how that process works...

Sometimes you come back to play and you have a set back it's not from the injury it's from the lack of playing full speed again and you have a soft tissue deal the thing that happened with Bland was completely not the same injury not the same foot it was just bad luck...

That's great can they play both sides of the ball I can see Booker maybe being a 3 Tech turpin being a corner maybe a nickel slot corner and CD lamb I don't know his build I think he could be a pass rusher just pure pass rusher putting him in on like 3rd and 18 let him go after the quarterback. :muttley: ;)

Good. Commanders likely getting Terry and Noah Brown back.
good we don't want any excuses.. They played with their full complement of players last year against our backups and lost and then against Trey Lance and even more backups in the second game and nearly lost It's so funny that people think this game is just gonna be a blowout cause the Cowboys are struggling on defense but don't realize this is a division game and we nearly swept them with a bunch of backups last year prescott didn't play in either one of those games....

It's obvious, you don't use one of your most expensive assets for plays that aren't worth what the risk is - as we have seen with him being gone.

It's a dumb play to use him in that way regardless. The main time a wr is used for rushing is if they are similarly built as a rb (Deebo, Moore) or have great speed (Tyreek). CeeDee is neither of these.

we need all the fire power back cause you know this defense ain't stopping no one.

Washington vs Dallas will another be another 70 points plus at Jerry World.

....Update: Commanders players spotted at Greyhound depot. ;)..

Our great #2 WR will return!!!! Please no more hand offs to him!!!
