Lamb's quietly impressive.

First 2 years of career:
Ceedee REC 153 YDS 2,037 TD 11
Dez REC. 108 YDS 1,489 TD 15
Irvin REC 58. YDS 1032 TD 7
Pearson REC. 84. YDS 1,475 TD 4

This is because CeeDee has had many drops his first 2 years. If not, his numbers would be much higher. o_O:cool::flagwave:

Think about what Pearson, Irvin and Bryant meant to their teams. Throwing up the first two-year stats and asking if he's the top 88 is a joke. I hope one day he can be mentioned seriously in that conversation, but now is not the time, it's way too soon.

Ceedee accomplished this as the #2. Drew and Irvin were the #1 WR by year two.

You're probably awake for your Denny's grandslam Gramps. Enjoy.

Slick burn but I am not even close to early bird specials

Lamb is clearly #4 on the list of 88’s but keep thinking stats in this era compare to the previous….

Ceedee also did this with Dalton and Dinucci in his first year, give the guy some credit

Hard to imagine anyone better than Irvin. I don't think he will come close to him.

Different era's
Make it hard to compare.
Also Irvin was hurt earlier in his career

The world would be such a better place if as optimistic as this forum.

That said I hope this guy tears it up!

Lamb has been playing #2 wr position. That position doesnt get the defense best cb or draw the double coverage #1 gets. Pearson also played 14 game seasons, played in a run 1st NFL, known for and excelled at going over the middle when that meant something (2 or 3 guys were going to clock you immediately or while still in the air cause it was legal), and like Irvin was known for clutch catches. As of today Pearson is still twice the receiver Lamb is
