Celebrating in Charlotte

Last night was an awesome night to be a Cowboys fan here is Charlotte.

Romo's coming out !! I will always remember getting to see that in person.

I have been a Cowboys fan 40 yrs and this was only my 3rd game, what a game to see !

My son and I drove 5 1/2 hrs to go to the game.

We were at the Hilton prior to the game as the Cowboys boarded their buses.

Got to see everybody either in the hotel or as they were boarding the bus.

Panters stadium is awesome, it is a small city.

The Carolina fans were great before, during and after the game, ... no surprise to me though as I worked down here for a while years ago and the people were great then.

Cowboys fans were everywhere!

The Cowboys bench area was celebrating and really enjoying themselves in the last seconds, ... fun to watch!

You should have seen Romo walking off the field surrounded by lights and cameras and trying to look cool and not smile, ... unsuccessfully I might add.

He played a great game, especially for his first start.

After the game Cowboys fans filled the streets !

Reading their newspaper this morning was a lot of fun, ... well gotta go, got a 5 1/2 hr drive ahead of us.

I cant wait for the last 5 of 7, because it is going to feel like there is a home cowboys game every week!!! Having the two home games in a week is so much fun.

I honestly think I am sick enough to just stay there from sunday to thursday and wait for the next game!!!!!

I am sooooo jealous. I've been a Cowboys fan since 1971, and the only NFL game I've ever been to is Super Bowl XX. My dream is to go to a game at Texas Stadium with my dad before they move to Arlington.

BTW, my dad went to a Cowboys game at the Cotton Bowl before they moved to Irving.

I was there last night as well, I live in Charlotte ( west side) The tailgating was nice yesterday afternoon the weather was perfect. We had alot of fun outside the stadium. Alot of people are moving to Charlotte from other places because it's not a tiny city but it isn't overly big but we have everything that bigger cities have but with less drama as other big places. Anyway the team bus drove up alot of Cowboy fans were going crazy. Even during warmups the players looked really loose TO smiling waving JJ and Marion did alot of talking, great atmosphere!

I was in 553. If you were anywhere around that section, I was the really obnoxious guy that all the Panthers fans were getting pissed at. It was great.

Yes I am going to do a giants, texans and panthers game recap this week.

I was sick for a couple days and then I was in ny for two weeks so that is why you have not seen any highlight clips from me recently, but I am back and ready to some.

I was in 548, row 18, seat 13.

Every score happened right in front of us, .. how awesome is that !!

Panthers fans around us were a lot of families, (so we enjoyed each others company and the friendly ribbing) except four guys in front of us.

They were around 25-28 yrs old, and drunk.
When they got there right before kickoff, they were fired up and lit up.

But as the buzz wore off and the game turned sour for them, they sat down like little whipped puppies, .. I loved it.

( I actually gave them a few light verbal jabs, which I don't normally do )

I think EVERY Panthers fan left early,

Every fan at the end was cheering for the Cowboys.

Was it not awesome to see Parcells tip Owens hat to the side?
Owens smiled like a kid when his dad told him he played a good game.

I am in a great mood since last night.

That is true. I was in 528 row 6 seats 12 & 13. Most of the Panthers fans around us were pretty cool with the exception of a few. As WV pointed out, once the game swung in our favors, they quieted down alot.

One good Panther fan patted me on the back when they scored the second TD with a little ribbing. At the end of the game, I told him that had I patted his back everytime the Cowboys scored, he wouldn't be able to get up the next morning.
