Celebrity Tournament Bracket Idea (Balloting Completed)

ATTENTION ALL PARTICIPATING MEMBERS! Please read the ranking system below very carefully. Feel free to ask any questions if it is not completely understood. Thanks.

Methinks I have a good suggestion for any possible bracket in the future. How about a data gathering thread first? In it, participating members can post their choice of candidates and rank them 1 through 32.

Each ranking would have a point value. For example:

Rank 1 = 32 points
Rank 2 = 31 points
Etc.

EDIT: Celebrities nominated by a member after their initial 32 suggested list will automatically receive 1 point

Thus, participating members would serve as an informal selection committee for the tournament itself. After every participant posts their list before a preset deadline, the lists would then be tabulated after every participating member posts their list (maybe before a preset deadline/72 hours/a week?/10 days?). The combined points (most to fewest) for each actress celebrity would determine their seeding of the bracket.

Hopefully, your sentiment is not shared by too many other members. The best threads have good participation. So far, @timb2 and I have been putting in 98% effort and everyone else clicking on these threads have been sniping-and-leaving. It would be nice seeing a little more love shown for these celebrities.

No One Is Required To Copy Another Member's Suggestions!

Just throwing that out there. Everyone should pick their own top 32.

Time for a Captain Obvious comment:

The top 32 vote getters will be seeded in a 32 celebrity bracket. So the more lists any celebrity is on adds up as more points for that celebrity. Lesser known celebrities will likely gather fewer overall points.
