Cereals

There are a number of cereals that I could (and have) binge on. I rarely eat it these days, however, because it's my weakness and kills any attempt at weight loss/control.

Cinnabon (previously Cinnamon mini buns and Cinnamon mini swirls) is easily my favorite. It's in limited production now, though, so if I want it, I have to buy it from Amazon for $5+ a box (used to be 2.50 at Walmart). After that, it's Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Cinnamon Pebbles is a recent one I've been fond of. I have an affinity towards things with cinnamon.

Well, I'm diabetic so all I can really eat is Cheerios. I eat it with spelnda, whole milk and protein mix added to the milk. I sometimes will slice up a banana.

Cereal is truly one of the worst things you can eat if you are diabetic. Loaded with sugar, even the ones that are marketed as healthy. It's really a terrible scam, no wonder children are experiencing such issues with early onset heath issues today.

It's really bad, should be a law..........

True almost any cereal is loaded with sugar but there are slightly better ones that I eat but no one here is mentioning.

Cocoa Krispies, instead of Snap, Crackle and Pop I got Jalen, Lionel and Tyrone but they made much sweeter music. I thought they should have had a Cap'n Funk cereal.

The coolest thing about cereal was the double shot. First you get the cereal and then you get the cereal flavored milk and Cocoa Puffs or Krispies was special milk, Fruit Loops milk was pretty fine too. You had to be careful and not get too much in each spoonful of cereal so you wouldn't decrease your reward after the cereal was gone.

I am not a big cereal eater.
That would be my wife. She buys all kinds of different cereals.

Once in a great while I will want something in the evening that is sweet and decide I want some cereal as a snack. Of course with my luck it is normally when we are out of milk. So sometimes I will just fill a bowl with some cereal and eat it dry. Sugar Smacks is good dry. I have also had captain crunchberry dry.

However the other day the wife bought some cereal and I saw that it was Fruity Pebbles with marshmallows in it. So I tried a small bowl.

I finished the whole box in 2 days. It is the most cereal I have eaten that I can recall. That is probably more cereal than I will eat in a whole year on average.

But man alive it was sooooooo good.

What is a cereal you can binge on?
Quisp.....

When I was a kid Honey Crisp, Sugar Puffs were my favourite. As an adult Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Shreddies and Special K top my list...

Cinnamon is actually good for humans

I eat a huge bowl of Post shredded wheat/Bran w/a banana every day, no milk, use almond milk. On occasion I'll eat a bowl of Total instead.
