2. Rashad Johnson, FS, Alabama, 6'0", 195lbs. Great instincts and cover ability in the secondary. Excellent leader and a selfless player, exactly what we need.

3. Ron Brace, NT, Boston College, 6'3" 329lbs. For a big man he can really move. Doesn't offer much of a pass rush outside of his bull rush, but against the run he's unmoveable.

4a. Tyronne Green, OL, Auburn, 6'2", 305lbs. Usually played LG in college and we could really use some help there. Maybe if Kozier and Holland get that hole plugged he could scoot over and learn some C. Either way he's a great athlete.

4b. Jason Williams, LB, Western Illinois, 6'3", 235lbs. He had 46.5 TFL and 14 FF in his college. Started off as a SS before moving to LB. Showed off equally capabilities vs. the pass and run all week against good talent at the Shrine game.

5a. Sammie Lee Hill, DL, Stillman, 6'4", 331lbs. Very athletic kid for his size and could probably play either DE or NT for us. Still very raw but he has a good head on his shoulders and takes coaching well.

5b. Garrett Reynolds, OL, North Carolina, 6'8", 310lbs. Impressive blood lines, and he can play. He will be challenging Proctor and/or McQ for a roster spot.

5c. Lawrence Sidbury, DE/OLB, Richmond, 6'3", 267lbs. Long arms will be great for getting off of blocks, which is key in the 3-4. Athleticism is questioned for the switch, but at this point in the draft I think the gamble is worth it.

6a. Edwin Williams, OL, Maryland, 6'3", 311lbs. Veteran player that played nearly every snap at C. He has also showed the ability to play G, should provide good depth.

6b. Stephen Hodge, SS, TCU, 6'0", 236lbs. Timed speed isn't great, but this guy is a playmaker. If you watched any TCU games, this guy was the leader of one of the best defenses in the country and he just flies around the field. Also great on special teams. Hopefully we won't have depth problems at S anymore.

7a. Quinten Lawrence, WR, McNeese St, 6'1", 180lbs. This is your playmaker. Along with good size, he also has supposed 4.2 speed. I suspect he isn't that fast, but he is a burner. He's been nicked up throughout his career, but he could be a diamond in rough here.

7b. Drew Willy, QB, Buffalo, 6'3", 211lbs. He has a strong arm and good mechanics. He was a 4 year starter so he's got plenty of experience. Level of competition wasn't great, and he's still a bit raw but he's a great project pick here.

damn, I actually like this mock better than mines

funny, I was playing around with putting Willy in my mock too

great job

I would settle for Rashad if we had to..he could be a great leader and start right away.

I'm a big fan of Sean Smith and would be open to taking him if he were there, but I just don't see that happening. It's a shame not having a 1st, but I think we'll do just fine without it.

I could very much seeing Sean Smith fall out of the first round. There is no way that he falls to 51 though. A move would have to be made to pick 34-40 to get him. I really dont want to blab about why we need him so I'll stop right here.
