CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders add Trey Lance to their negotiating rights list

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
I see you are an appreciator of fine cinema. Outstanding good sir!

@jazzcat22 , I told you he sucks
I was never a fan of bringing him, but you realize that even playing in the C league still puts him at the top percentage of people when it comes to athleticism. How far did you make it in your football career? This guy made it to the pros. Sure, it didn't work out, but he was good enough to get there. So, if he really does suck, what's that say about you?

I’m no Lance fan and the trade made no sense for Dallas but he isn’t so bad to where he shouldn’t get an NFL backup job.

His problem is he needed reps with a non contender, but for some reason GM Jerry thought the Dallas bench would work out well for everyone.

Well im not a football player. Im like a Patrick Mahomes in my career field, ya heard meh?

Trey Lance bet on himself on the open Market for some reason and it's crickets. However, Trey is young and some teams looking for a young developmental QB could give him a call after the draft if they don't get to pick a QB.

If I'm Dallas tho, I'd let the new HC/Playcaller pick his own guy to work with.

Ewers or Howard or McCord may be options around the 5th round, or trade back into the 4th round.

Howard may go before that, possibly 3rd. I have no idea, I have not looked at any draft ratings lately.

Howard may go before those 2, simply because of his performance in the 4 games from the college playoffs to win a national championship.

Add Shough and Rourke as potential developmental QB pick ups.
