CFP thread

Well credit to Tech's defense, but offensively they're just not a playoff caliber team.

I bet on Oregon last night at -2.5. The line moved to Oregon +1.5 before the game…..had me a bit worried and wondering why the line moved so much so fast.

TT did not impress at all
when you think of how JMU scored on Oregon, this makes TT look pretty pathetic on O
But Oregon did impress me some
and they kept the Bye Jinx going

Just maybe JMU was better than some thought
Just kept stalling in red zone in 1st half

And I suspect the long layoff hurt, just as it has all the others so far.

Now teams with byes and very long layoffs are 0-7

Credit the Ducks (and Canes) though!

Does seem like teams that play recently have a big edge over teams that have weeks off

But then we have seen the same thing in the NFL with teams with a bye getting knocked off by low seeds
happened to us twice

Last year all 4 bye teams lost in the second round so it will be interesting to see what happens this year.

So far, it's 1 bye team game and 1 bye team loss.
Now, it's 2 bye team games and 2 bye team losses.

That's the first points a bye team has scored in the first half so far in three games.

I think the Hoosiers gonna blow out Alabama . I don’t believe the tide should have even been in the playoff

Cignetti is just better. Coaching matters and he will make sure they don't choke like the other 6 teams that had the bye week loss

"Still every year they are ranked high & praised all season while rarely playing anyone. Look pretty mundane when they finally do"

You do realize they won it all last year?
I have already addressed that.
