That buy out money is better spent on the roster.

Actual Bama insiders understand their finances and thus were in on KDB staying when he had a chance to go to Michigan because they get the financial realities.

Bama does not have the big-time boosters that some others do.

LSU is about to pay Sam Leavitt 7M.
Bama isn't touching anyone at even half that cost.

Alabama's endowment is double LSU's. So, yet another "fact" you are inventing. Alabama has way more money than LSU in general and a MUCH larger fanbase. That's just fact. The NIL guesstimates you use to judge schools are not relevant bc they are unverified.

The negotiation with Kelly was pretty simple. LSU offered him a lump sum of 30M. He chose the payout of 54 million spread over 6 years. Which is kinda baffling for a man his age.

Alabama has Keelon Russell waiting in the wings. Why would they go out and spend 7M on a QB with a lower upside?

I think it's pretty clear you don't know much about Alabama and have a grudge against the school.

Endowment money is NOT going to pay players or hire coaches.

Nor do we need it to see Bama has lost EIGHT games in 2 seasons.
 
ND is missing the boat on the portal this year. Already lost a few top targets because they dragged their feet on prospects. They should have gotten the WR who went to IU and lost another WR to Cal of all places.

For a team that was pointing to 2026 as the season to prove themselves, sitting out the portal like they have done thus far is idiotic given the reality that the teams competing for the NC this year built themselves, in part, by hitting the portal hard.

If a team administration was "wrong" on the last coach they hired than yes, they can very possibly be wrong on the next coach they hire too. You wanted to compare LSU hiring versus me. I have hired zero coaches that have crapped the bed and cost me 50+ million dollars.

My Kiffin dislike was stated long before he chose LSU. Because I have seen his actual career instead of just the fluff/PR campaign the past 3 seasons. He has burned the bridge at every stop except FAU where he only built bridges w/ Co-ed girls allegedly.

You really can't see past your own hatred of Alabama.

The endowment money is a reflection of the general wealth of a school. I never said it was used to pay players. You claimed LSU had more money or was somehow wealthier. Not so.

I don't like or dislike Kiffin. I just wantched him build a roster and a staff that's now in the CFP semi-final. If you can't give him credit for that , then you are the lost one. There is no reason to think he will do worse at LSU, aside from your general hatred of the guy.

Where did I EVER say he did not do a good job at Ole Miss?
I said taking Ole Miss on a humiliation tour the last month of this season was TRASH.

Brian Kelly literally did a great job at Notre Dame then came to LSU.
Kiffin has 0 conference titles or CFP wins to his name in his lifetime.
He struck while the kettle was hot and left his CFP bound team to become the highest paid coach in the sport even though he was top 10 at 9M and would have gotten a raise.
Tragically bad decision-making skills.

And his roster right now is really soft. And his coaching staff only partially built.
And LSU has to pay out a lot of money to BK making them less likely flush with NIL cash.
He's literally losing NIL battles to Ole Miss the supposedly "smaller" program.

Dude I am not sure why you think I would care one iota about how much cash a school has unless it impacts their football team.
Should I pencil Harvard into the CFP?

The levels of copium you are reaching is unheard of.

Alabama's roster is getting WORSE by the day, and the results have been the worst of the past 20 years already. Those are simple facts.

All you're doing is re-posting social media posts from people who have as much information as we do. I'm sure Lane is going to get a honeymoon year. Nobody expects LSU to be in the playoff next year. Ole Miss was 5-5 his first year. LSU will probably be along those same lines but he does have Texas and Alabama at home.

You are the one claiming Bama poverty. lol. Bama has as much money as they need. Some teams need more talent so their NIL number is higher. You can't prove otherwise.
