Bama is hurting in talent and cash to build an elite roster.4 loss seasons are now common place and might as well be expected until NIL gets locked down.

LSU is getting shoved in a locker by Ole Miss the supposedly smaller program and Lane is obtaining virtually none of the kids he targeted and likely told LSU officials he could get.

These things are happening real-time as we type.

You said the "results prove otherwise" in regard to LSU having more money. That is an absurd statement since Alabama as "poor" as you claim and lacking talent have done better than LSU. I think you are not keeping up here.

Never once in this entire thread have I made any predictions about LSU football being good next year. So, you can save all the re-posts about the daily recruiting news to yourself. Expectations for Kiffin will be moderate next season. He has to get his staff in place and have a full year to recruit before anyone will be having CFP expectations. Of course, you will cite this situation as proof Kiffin can't get it done bc of your own biases. I bet you probably said the same thing when he was hired by Ole Miss. The fact is that since he took a step backward and worked on Sabans staff, he has been a much better coach.

Ole Miss was 3rd, Oregon was 4th and Miami was 5th last year. Indiana was 13th.

If HS recruiting mattered wouldn't Bama lose less than 4 games?

Ole Miss, Oregon, and Miami also had highly ranked incoming classes for the pat few year. IU built mostly through portal, but that seems to be an outlier situation. I think coaching matters more than both.

Hosting top ranked portal WR (down to Tech or UT) and already signed top ranked portal QB.
Last year's top ranked portal RB returns from ACL so we shall see how healthy he is but he missed a full year so should be good to go.

Tech will pretty easily win the Big 12 again next year.
