I got pulled over for that once.
Occurred 1 week to the day after I had gotten a speeding ticket so I was furious to be pulled over again even though I knew I wasn't speeding.
The speeding ticket was BS. The city I was driving through has a good amount of railroads so they have these really steep and short bridges that pop up kind of out of no where. The bridges were 30MPH zones and I'm pretty sure just off the end of the bridge in the direction I was going it turned into a 35.
Anyway I picked up speed to get over the bridge and was probably going about 35MPH as I reached the crest of the bridge. I coasted over the top and down the backside, picking up more speed and the cop was waiting at the bottom of the bridge........$150 ticket.
Fast forward one week and I am literally 2 miles more down the road almost out into a rural area and I was coming down a hill again when the lights came on. I checked my speed and I was around 52 in a 55.
He stopped and told me about my light.......said I could be ticketed if I don't get it fixed within a few weeks and get pulled over again. That was it.
This place kills me sometimes.
