Great player or not, wouldn't want that punk on the Cowboys. He is a cancer.

I'm sure the league will fine him.

That was said about TO, what do you think now???????????

Ocho Cinco is a great player.

Surely we can find a WR to help us WITHOUT having to make a deal for this player.......

He shouldn't have let it get to him to the point that he shoved the guy but I don't really see why everyone is so anti-Chad about this kind of stuff. So he acts out some. Lots of them do (Not all of course) but it's not that big a deal to me. On Sundays he shows up and plays hard.

I'm sure the people here were all very much anti-TO in spring 06 but now most people love him.

Funny how 28 TD catches in two seasons will make fans suddenly not be so bothered by it.

T.O. II? Marvez, with Bengals employee Michael Lipman beside him, asked Johnson if he felt better after venting at the Super Bowl last week. Johnson walked away, and when Lipman asked again, Chad reportedly shoved him and "stared him down." Johnson later admitted on the NFL Network that he's "gotten out of line every now and then" behind the scenes, adding "what great one doesn't? Find me a great one that doesn't do the same things I've done and I'll stop playing. Period." HOF Class of '08 Art Monk comes to mind.

After Mike Vick is set free, and gets "umpteen" suitors.........and after EVERYONE get's over being "aghast" that ANY NFL team would "sell their soul" to go after him.........................
AND, after Vick takes some "Miami" or some "Chicago" to the playoffs in 2010..........

Chad Johnson will seem like a Brownie-scout.

If this guy is on the market and wants to play in Dallas, you TAKE HIM in a heartbeat.
All of a sudden, a guy who can't break the big time, IN Cin:laugh2:cy, is THE PROBLEM!!!
This guy wants to win, he wants to compete............and by God, he wants HIS NUMBERS because he's selfish..........................Whatever. I don't care what his motivation is. Bottom line is, that NOTHING is going to come his way in Cin:laugh2:cy!! Nothing EVER comes ANYONE'S way in Cincy!!! He's going to get out of there, period. Might as well be Dallas!!!

Some of you need to quit playing the Dali Lama and getting all "ethical", and understand that this is now a league of prostitutes and "get it while the going is good". Look at this years "super bowl champion" for validation of THAT FACT!!! Just another ***** team who got hot and gelled at the right time. Free agency.........salary cap...........parity...............

All watered down to the point that in 2008, the ****ty Giants are the "best team". What more do you need to see?

Bring "Cinco Ocho" here and see what happens. What the hell..............

Idiot or not...He'll still thrive in our offense with Romo throwing to him.

If we can't get Roy Williams then get him.

If a person i ont like keeps getting up in my grill after i tell him not to several times ill push him away too. Ocho doesnt want to be there and isnt hiding it.

Now granted it want nice but he wanted to be left alone and wasnt. TO whooped up on Hugh Douglas for much the same reason.

Ocho would make this offense even more dominant and we would give this years Pats a run for all the records.

What's with the "T.O. II" part?

unless i'm just forgetting, T.O. never shoved media members.

i think his good behavior this year totally baffled the media b/c they were saving 1/2 of their news time to report on possible antics.

now are they just resorting to adding his name to any article related to a player acting out?

i actually commend TO for not ever punching a member of the media. If i had to deal with the crap he deals with i don't think i could've restrained myself from dishing out some black eyes and broken jaws.

He did however spit in another player's face which is WAYY worse than shoving someone IMO.

Amen. I get so tired of the, "Oh, Chad is just having fun" crap. We've seen him go berzerk on the sidelines at his teammates (even against us a few years ago when the immortal Lance Frazier was holding him down) and say that he's going to celebrate and too bad if the coach doesn't like the penalties. Even T.O. stopped with the penalties and has been able to control himself since he got here.
No thanks.
I think you've just made the agrument FOR taking a chance w/ CJ.....

I don't even think he's all that great. He's a show pony and disappears in big games. I damn sure wouldn't want him wearing the :starspin .

You're right. Nice post.

Maybe I shouldn't, but I like Ocho Cinco. He's colorful, flamboyant, funny, and has boyish charm. He's loud and outrageous, but not mean spirited (most of the time, anyway). And he's got some swagger. I bet he'd do just fine on a winning team.

The Cowboys need a #1 caliber WR to play opposite Owens. 85 is one of those kind of guys. There are others. Seems like Detroit's Roy Williams would be less expensive to obtain and would make more sense. But if 85 somehow ended up in Dallas instead, I think it'd be a lot of fun.
