Anyhow-especially considering that Reid prefers high character guys on his team, AND he went through this whole episode with another "low character receiver" a couple of years ago, I'm shocked he hasn't learned his lesson-or maybe he's just trying to cater to his franchise player-adopted son.

You are just assuming Chad Johnson is a TO clone because of his endzone celebrations. Chad Johnson is a character guy and a great teammate.

Nope-reports came out that he was being disruptive in the Cincy locker room this year. And if you remember the NE game on MNF last Sept, you saw him getting into it with Palmer.

When the Bengals played that NLFN game against the Niners last month, the announcers kept pointing out how the chemistry between him and Palmer in the passing game was aweful all year. That says ALOT.

Carson Palmer has been critical of the Bengals long before Chad Johnson ever said anything. Chad Johnson never criticized Carson Palmer or Marvin Lewis. He has done the same as Palmer in expressing his frustration with the team's focus. Johnson is just getting hammered because of his similarities to TO in regards to their endzone celebrations, but aside from that, they are nothing alike. I heard the interview and I thought Chad Johnson didn't say anything disrespectful. I thought he made a lot of sense. He has done his part and if the team feels he is distraction, they should trade him. No, I wouldn't want the Eagles to acquire him, he is a very good receiver.
