Why would anyone want a guy that takes a swing at his head coach? This guy is a lockeroom cancer.

Since Im at work all day I usually just go about reading the posts and don't ever comment but I have to say that all these comments look very familiar -

I remember hearing everyone having the same discussions about TO

Personally I don't think it is very wise to go and spend money we could use somewhere else (CB/RB) on someone like Ocho Cinco but I do think he would make a tremendous impact - teams would not be able to double both chad and TO without leaving huge holes in the secondary - however like I said financially this is just stupid and would never happen IMO.

I watched damn near every Bengals game this year. Chad Johnson was my #1 receiver on my fantasy team...which turned out to be weak at WR. The guy would blow up one week and save my ***...mostly because he was playing against a crap team. The next week, he'd be invisible. Do yourself a favor and rewatch all of these games that you've obviouosly given all of your attention to, and watch who the bengals went to on third downs and crucial moments. I'll give you a hint, it's not Chad Johnson. Great players don't disappear like that. For the money he'd require, he's not even close to being worth it. He's the second best receiver on his team.

He's not as good as you seem to think.

See ill give you that. chad had a bad year this past season.. Reasons being, his team overall played horrible. heck even carson palmer had a bad season. but what about the past years? the guy has been the best wr in the AFC. you cant just go based on 1 bad season for the guy. overall he has had a pretty good career with the bengals.

I am sure this has been brought up before, but does anyone think he is an option via trade? Would we even want him. The guy is talented that is for sure.

We'd want him, but it will cost too much. The Bengals will pay close to $9 million to trade him. So the only way they would do it is if we made some type of "Hershel to the Vikes" trade.

Johnson would be a good fit for what Dallas needs, a burner opposite of Owens who scares defenses deep and allows Owens to get underneath stuff. We won't get him, but if we did my only concern is that he doesn't have the greatest hands. With Owens having suspect hands, bringing in another guy with suspect hands isn't something I'm a fan of.
