He's Jimmie Johnson's crew chief that was suspended for 3 races for illegal mods to the car. It's not his first suspension.

i don't think johnson needs knaus anymore. he's doin better with the other guy as crew cheif. i believe knaus comes back this sunday. should be interesting.
