That's my boy announcing our pick! America's Team, The Dallas Cowboys!!!

How great was that... America's Team.. Damn right chad!

I'm not a huge fan of the annual America's Team debates, but that was pretty awesome.

He said something to the effect of...."With the 75th pick of the 2012 NFL draft...AMERICA's TEAM, THE Dallas Cowboys select defensive end Tryrone Crawford out of Boise State."

My quote is not 100% accurate but its the way he said stated "America's Team, THE Dallas Cowboys" in front of that New York crowd that was kind of awesome.

I liked how he looked up at the crowd after he said it and had a little smile and nodded his head like "That's right!".

Straight up! Loved seeing the pride Chad still has for the Cowboys!

vid of this asap

i bet he wanted to get back at the 'cowboys suck!' chant last night :laugh2:

Was funny cause it was almost like they tried to tone down the boos by stressing that he was in the air force prior to joining the cowboys

Always liked Chad....a true person....

When Dallas selected him knowing he would not play for 4 years at least, like Roger....I couldn't wait for him to start...

If I remember right...Jerry had bought the team after that, and jimmy wanted to trade him, but after a workout....he said no way, we need to keep this guy....

Chad essentially gave the New York crowd a verbal finger!!! hahaha!

Gotta love Chad, he stuck it to them in NY!:lmao2::laugh1:

Yes exactly...Chad gave all the haters a verbal FINGER. Could see in the war room that both Jerry & Jason loved it.

i love it when former players show passion and love for their organization years later.

thank you chad.

Definitely moved up a few slots on my all-time Cowboys list tonight. Loved that Chad was ( and will always be ) a Cowboy.

Little known fact. He is the biggest fighter pilot in the History of any US military service branch. He flew A-10 Warthogs in Desert Storm, the only NFL player to be a veteran of that conflict.

He was 6'5", 275 as a pilot. Most pilots are under 6 feet and almost all are under 200 pounds.

When the Air Force determined he was simply too big for his cockpit the bought him out of the final year of his hitch and let him go play for Dallas.

Once he arrived he hit the weights like a crazed man and quickly got up to 290 pounds which was within 5 pounds either way of where he always played for us
