I would have loved a guard, but the more I review, the more I like the picks. There was a run on the TE’s and for some reason our staff believed Ferguson wasn’t the game changer we needed. With Schoons high RAS and ability to block, he appears to have good upside.Ferguson is gonna be for real. You'll see.

I would've randomly picked anyone from this forum with the exception of Rockport to make our picks in this draft over what we got .

When the Cowboys drafted Kelvin Joseph it was the same thought process that led to the pick as this maker of schoons but nobody criticized it because it was cornerback. Nobody said they forced the pick because of position.

Your football utopia is a roster full of cornerbacks with the lumbering hurdler starting at TE.
Uh, i'd say a lot of us hated the Kelvin Joseph pick on draft day. I remember the arguments very well. Terrible pick from day 1. He was a young punk who never took his craft seriously. Schoon is more mature and will be pushing 30 when his rookie deal expires. I have heard that he aspires to be a folk singer. I'm looking for his mix tapes.

Well we avoided drafting players who won't play due to injury delay.

And we didn't draft any true idiots like BossMan.

I'm not a fan of this draft. Lots of headscratchers.

But unlike others I think Schoonmaker will be a household name in short order given the Cowboys visibility.

I see a Zac Ertz style athlete here. If he's that good- we did well here in 2023.
