That first series was so bad i turned it off. He is def another Taco to me. Meaning a guy who dallas likes that i tried to force myself to like but i cant. Thomas treated him like a child. Anybody who saw the full game. Did it get any better?

“He’s another Taco...”

That’s that rock-solid, emotionally driven analysis we love from you.

He had 4 tackles, 1 sack and 1 PD.

Wake up.

Was the sack on Thomas? If not i dont care. And you missed the Taco point i made being emotional (ironic). Read better

Thomas controlled Chaisson the vast majority of that game. I watched every single snap. 2 things. 1)Thomas is one of the best tackles in this class..probably the best pass blocker in the draft, imo. 2) right now thomas is better than Chaisson.. Chaisson is not a finished product. Drafting him, you are betting on his development.

Thanks for the non emotional reply. And yea Thomas is one of the best but Chaisson will see that type regularly. I dont like him but if we draft him I'll hope for the development

Every player that you draft at 17 is going to have warts. If it’s not Chaisson, it could be Terrell based on how the board falls. Then go watch what Chase did to Terrell in the National Championship game and you wouldn’t want him either. You can pick any game versus a premier player and say the prospect looks bad. Fact is, Chaisson has the tools to become Robert Quinn, even if it’s no guarantee that he’ll ever get there.

Any other matchup last year with an nfl caliber tackle? I'll give him a pass for one game

Watch the 2nd half. Yeah, in the first half he was held in check. But that 2nd half was a thing of beauty. Won using a variety of moves versus both tackles.

1:52:12 Beats the RT Isaiah Wilson (also a guy that will be playing on Sundays) on an inside move that forces a quick throw/incompletion.

1:54:51 Uses a nasty spin to beat I. Wilson and gets the sack.

2:11:15 beats Andrew Thomas on an inside rush. Following play 2:12:10 uses his speed to beat A. Thomas outside for a near sack/FF.

2:15:56 Look at the spin move he puts on RT Isaiah Wilson.

This game actually sold me on him at #17. That Georgia OL only gave up 15 sacks all season, and Chaisson could've easily had 2+ sacks in the 2nd half alone.

None of that matters. Guru likes to have things simplified for him.

Did “(Taco) Chaisson record a sack on Thomas or not?”

I recorded this game (I think) but didnt get to it.

I'm indifferent on Chiasson. Have seen him play live.

Wont break the tv if he is the pick, but wont be overly excited either.

That all said, you cant really expect the guy to have beaten Thomas on every play. He has to respect the run as well, Thomas knows what's going to happen, Chaisson does not.

I know what you mean about there being a lot of plays where he just isnt a factor, but how many guys are projected to be available in the teens that are a guaranteed impact pass rusher from day one?

Watch Chase Young play. He isnt in the backfield on every play.

Neither was Charles Haley.

On 3rd and long, they have a distinct advantage, and if he isnt effective then, maybe theres something to this. Even then, its only one game.

Another factor is that since pass rush is so paramount in the NFL, he may be a bit overrated. I've seen him mocked as low as 32, which is almost a full half round below 17. Maybe that's about right.

Was the sack on Thomas? Stay focused on football not catty female replies.

It wasn't on Thomas but it was on Isaiah Wilson, who's also in the first round tackle discussion. It's not like it was some walk-on scrub. In fact, he had Wilson's number all game and some nice reps against Thomas as well.

I'll watch. And i see dudes like to ride my nuts. Cute

And I'll bet all of the CBs have allowed completions, all of the QBs have thrown interceptions, all of the OL have missed blocks, and I know for sure that Kenneth Murray has overrun some tackles.

This is the same takeaway I had from watching just now.
