In the CFL, you can challenge PI, either if called or not called. My wife's office gave her tickets to a game in July and there was blatant PI in the endzone without a call. The head coach threw the challenge flag and after review, the refs said there was PI.

I don't think we will ever see the PI, Def. holding, illegal contacts rules ever challenges. The horse collars rules maybe. I seen quite a few this year that were called, but replays showed differently.

but it's all about protecting the refs, as goodell will protect them over anything else. It's like they are untouchable for some reason.

Thanks for sharing that. Didn't know about it.

They, like us, should be subject to scrutiny and rules. One thing for a team to get beaten fairly, another to have someone's incompetence potentially determine the outcome of a game.

P.S. Obviously I don't like the Eagles getting those breaks either :):)

How bout Coopers arm bars on that corner all night.

Or the eagle olineman grabbing the backs of the defenders jerseys as they let them by

Saw that also. It's almost like the league has one set of rules for certain teams, and will ensure the rest are kept in line to move on their favorites

I for one would like to see calls like the alleged Horse Collar, and non interference call during the Luck interception be subject to challenge.

Same rules for challenges regarding number, losing them etc.

I've been saying that for a while, especially pass interference calls. The game is so fast that it's tough for a ref to make those determinations accurately. A possibility would be to allow for flags to be challenged, as you suggest. Another would be to have a reply ref be able to signal down to the one on the field, "Bad flag, pick it up."

I just wish the Refs would always follow the same set of rules. To me the big irregularity is how potential turn overs are handled. I'm pretty sure they are supposed to swallow the whistle and let the replay fix any issues. That happens most of the time, but when it doesn't it can severely hurt the team that gets the turn over.

I believe there is a higher power that give favoritism to certain teams over others when it comes to calls. Having more rules and having no oversight and accountability lets refs actually sway a game towards a certain team over another. Thus there is some underhanded dealings going on regarding refs.

How can it be so blatantly obvious that Dez Bryant can get called for illegal contact when the defender his pulling his facemask? Or he gets drilled in mid-air and no call.

Yet our team lays a hand on a receiver flags are automatically thrown. If refs keep calling games that are lopsided like how were seeing, there needs to be some checks and balances to make sure that these refs aren't making a call to their bookie in Las Vegas and betting on a certain team to win that day.
