I read last week where Champ said he has grown tired of all the changes in Denver and wants to make a move to safety to extend his career. Might he be on Jerry's radar?

Did he say he wants to move to safety or move out of Denver?

I'll try to find the source, but I left the article understanding both. He wants out and want to move to safety. Let me check for the article though...

Champ has mentioned both (leaving Denver & moving to safety).

The guy is one of the most technically sound DB's I've ever seen. Not only would he make a pretty good Safety (IMO) but he'll be a great influence on Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick, and Bryan McCann.

I pulled this from a Mock Draft site (http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/draft2011.php). Take it for what its worth:

"Champ Bailey, who is set to become a free agent this offseason, was recently quoted as saying that he's tired of all the change in Denver. It's unlikely that he'll be back. And if he is, Bailey told ESPN that he wants to convert to safety to prolong his NFL career. "

Wishful thinking on my part, but it's possible.

Read on rotoworld today he is looking for a 4 year contract around 44 million. I wouldnt mind him playing CB for Dallas but no way should they sign him to move him to Safety.

Would be better than Ball, that's for sure. :laugh2:

Agreed. Champ would be the ball hawking free safety we have been wishing for. He could anchor the defensive backfield and allow the team to focus on building a pass rush through FA/Draft.

What if it came down to Champ or Mankins?

Mankins. Not even close.

Or we could be like Deion and say.. both boss.

Anyone remember those terrible commercials? lol

I'm definitely NOT part of the "Madden Crowd" (though I love the game), but would LOVE to have Champ here as a CB OR Safety.
