A ton of dull first leg games. However, Juninhos freekick is another one for his highlight reel, and both teams played excellent futbol. Jose and Inter seemed to set out for a draw and got what they wanted, Arsenal could have scored 5 had they had competent players, and the Liverpool-Madrid match was dull beyond dull. I had high hopes for Chelsea-Juventus, but after a torrid first 30 minutes, the game settled down into mediocrity.

Predictions for the second leg?

Inter-1 ManU-0
Roma-1 Arsenal-2
Chelsea-1 Juventus-1
Lyon-0 Barca-2
Villa-1 Panathaniekos-0
Pool-2 Madrid-0
Athletico-2 Porto-0

The Bayern tie is allwrapped up.

Edit because I love you fellow soccer fans:

Nice to see all 4 English clubs make it through to the Quarter Finals again.

What chance on an all English final again?

Or will (Miserable Michel) Platini get his way & fix the draw so it can't happen?

that was one of the worst arsenal games i've ever seen. can't believe we made it through.

and man, messi is just ridiculous. if arsenal doesn't win the CL (lol, like we have a chance), I hope Barca wins for Henry.

hoping bayern win it, though i reckon barca are probably favourites. as a scot i'm not a big fan of all four english clubs in the quarters

I was cheering for Roma but that didn't work out to well :(

I wouldn't be shocked if we had an all British finals again

I hate Arsenal but I was actually happy they won, for no other reason than Eduardo's miss not costing them. Given what he's been through, you can only wish him the best (btw that FA Cup goal he scored was sensational!)

United made heavy work of it against Inter. Hopefully they'll get it together in the next round.

Some interesting ties coming up in the next round, but could the football gods do us a favor and skip another Liverpool-Chelsea match up?
