I think Landry gets a 1st round grade after the combine. His blazing speed plus his bust off the line will move him into the 1st. Hearing Davenport goes in the 2nd due to weak OT class as well. Wish we could get this draft though.

I wonder how hard it be to put Biegel, at DE ?

Hmm not sure. He is decent size 6'3" 240. I hear his lack of burst is what will make teams shy away from drafting as a 3-4 OLB. I initially liked him has a Strong Side LB for us. Good in run support. Blitz from the strong side on 3rd and long.

Nice mock. Davis looks he could develop into a freak. I agree with the other poster that says Landry goes in 1. He's my guy at 32 but I fear a team like the Pats could take him ahead of us. Like the Rasul Douglas pick. Good but Raw.

I would take Landry and one and target Cupp WR in 2.

I agree. Landry is my top choice for our 1st. I'm hoping the Pats see Christian McCaffrey as such a perfect fit that they are all in on drafting him if he's their.

Dumb question here. Where did Dallas get the 2nd 4th Rounder from?

Let me start by saying I appreciate you and anyone that takes time from their day to do any type of mock draft. Having said that, doing a draft where your 1st Round Pick seems to have NO ONE even mentioning him within the first 2 days of the draft is a Quincy Carter/Tony Dixon-level REACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they also said we reached for Travis Fredrick also..... Carter is a junior and that is some of the reason he is not mentioned like others.Georgia was so-so and why everyone is enamored by others. I would like to push Randy Gregory to light it up or get out of the way. Carter can bring the heat off the edge. You can see it on his highlights and he also looks that he can get bigger.Daeshon Hall I like also at 32nd,but not sure if him being an Aggie it would put too much pressure on him. Most NFL teams do not draft the hometown kids because if they flop you want for them atleast to be able to come home without getting crucified everywhere they go. Only desperate franchises looking for a money draw or a coach trying to appease the angry fans from wanting his head does this. Hall vs Carter is very similar. Also at 32 several pass rushers will be off the board already.

When we are talking about late first round picks Carter is very much in the picture

Keep in mind, this time in 2014, Byron Jones was on very few radars as even a day 2 pick

Pre-Combine is all ranking speculation. They change so much after that event, and even pro days. Then, you have a handful of teams, who pull some player nobody would even think of, out of their glutes in every round.

My only issue is drafting 2 TEs, when we will have so many needs on our D.

After watching Free be hot garbage vs the Giants, clear need at RT for me. Far bigger need than a 4th option in the air game. I like Davenport but weak year for OTs might move him up.
