I saw Clutts wearing #44 I thought of Robert Newhouse, and then we already know about Mo with #24 (Walls) and Dez #88... Soo nostalgic lol

When Irvin was asked about someone wearing #88, as when no one is wearing 22, 8, or 12, or 74, what was his thoughts.

Irvin said, he's glad Dez has 88 and to make him proud. He said he didn't want his number hanging up in the rafters like he was dead. So he can live on through Dez.
He also said he wished he had the talent that Dez has. And for Dez to accomplish more than he did. Or something to that affect.

Not just a no, but a HELL NO! Emmitt has made that number for running backs, what 23 is for basketball players.

I don't recall Emmitt fumbling the ball and have it returned for a TD so #22 might not be appropriate
