SS - Roy Williams is not the answer He is too one deminsional and lately he doesn't even excel at being one demisnional.

CB - Henry stays injured too much and seemed to lost a step down the stretch. He needs to be a nickleback or S. Reeves is nothing more than a #4

WR - Crayton is nothing more than a 3rd. Glenn I don't think he has anything left. We need a defintely #1/#2 type of WR to complement TO.

RB - The barbarian is a keeper we have to resign him! But we could use a change of pace back to keep defenses honest. JJ is not that player (not that he will be back any way).

I am very disappointed right now, but If we can get quality players in those 3 areas, We will be a definitely be a contender.

As far as coaching, I am not pushing to get rid of Wade right now, but I must admit that his playoff record speaks loudly.

We need SPEED on this team. In the WR department, CB position, LB position, SS position, and some heart.

Crayton killed the 'Boys today. Romo will take the media hit, but Crayton killed that offense. Second to last play of the game, he gives up on the ball. Romo throws it to where he should have been

Arrrrrgh.

I would not be shocked if he is cut preseason.

Come to think of it, I wondered why Cowher didn't sign anywhere yet?

Roy Williams has become a girl....

When Jacques Reeves is playing on the defensive left side with Roy underneath, you can pretty much guarantee a catch on our defense....

Lots of love for Cowher here tonight, but he lost more big games than he won.

We peaked too soon. We may have been a little overrated in some places, like OL.

We need help in the secondary first and then a playmaker on O. Receiver is where I would spend one of the firsts. DB on the second one.

This season was not a total waste, but this is sad.

Recievers stunk it up today...they must have dropped 6 or 7 passes during the game. They should have stayed with Witten more today -- he is money.

OL was non existent in the fourth quarter. Romo was hit on every play, and he was probably lucky to finish the game. The Giants were even allowed to hit him well after he threw the ball.

Prevent Defense did it again...it prevented us from winning. The prevent allowed the Giants to score before the half and to regain the momentum and have belief in their staying in the game...and after a 10 min drive by Dallas. Stupid coaching...not sure if Stewart or Phillips, but this was the dumbest thing I have seen all year.

Safeties and Corners were ineffective...nothing new here, same as all year. But why didn't we at least blitz some instead of going into zone and playing passive. Poor defensive called game and poor 4th by the offense.

The one real standout today was Barber. If you were not a fan before this game, you should be now.

We will change a few things and get better. But, remember, this is a young team.

There are only a few Patriots 00, Cowboys 90s, Niners 80s, Steelers 70s - teams that became great overnight.

We have a young quarterback, a young running back, a young defense and a young kicker. I just don't see the torch-and-burn approach.

We know have two years of playoff experience and we'll learn from this and get better.

So, go ahead and be disappointed, in the loss. But this team is ahead of schedule in my mind, not behind schedule. And that's how I choose to look at this loss and this season.

Good post, but still sad.

As long as the subject is changes, we're never going to have a dominant defense until we replace Reeves. That should be a priority during the off season.

Considering he just signed a new contract, I doubt he wil be cut. I like Crayton as a thrid WR just not as a #2.

I agree with you that there is a lot of young talent on this team and the PO experience will help this team to grow. I also think we have enoguh talent that if we add a few positions we can be the 00 Pats, 90's Cowboys, etc. But in order to get to the next level we will need to shore up our D and it starts in the secondary.

on offense we all saw what happended when TO went out (and not at 100% today). We need an explosive WR across from TO a la Glenn from the past two years.

As for being disappointed...how can you not be with so much promise shown from this season not to get to at least the NFC championship. I thought for sure we had gotten over the december colapses/one and done syndrome from prior years. But it reared its ugly head. If we can get that killer instinct at the end of the year we will become a prolific team. But yes I am disappointed. I am proud of what this team accomplished. They exceeded my expectations with the exception of not being able to win at least one playoff game. I will get over it an will be optomistic about this team after the SB. But as I watch the rest of the PO and SB I will be pretty upset that Dallas will not be a part of it.
