Changes Coming to Commercial Breaks?

I guess that means longer commercial breaks though? doubt they're reducing the overall amount

wonder if they'll ever address the idiocy of Every Night Football - doubt it

Between this and them becoming more lax on celebrations, at least they seem to be trying to fix some of the problems that are leading to reduced ratings.

The amount of commercials truly had become unbearable. But if they can eliminate some of them, I think that can help quite a bit with the overall viewing experience.

IT's one of the things I love about Soccer.. 45 minutes non stop.

NFL is commercial after commercial.

Goodell actually doing something good for once.

Yeah, if he actually makes a dent in the commercial load it will make up for all his previous screw-ups, and then some. And I hate the guy.

Just put a ticker along the top or a little box in the corner with the commercials

Goodell is such a schmuck. TV ratings have fallen so the owners have decided to reduce, maybe, the outrageous number of idiotic and annoying commercials inflicted on the long suffering fans.

There's also another difference we'll notice.

For review, we'll now go to commercial, but a window will still be visible of the referee, who will be handed a tablet instead of going under the hood 60 yards away. New York will be involved.

Once a decision is made, they'll go ahead and announce it in the stadium and get ready for the next play, so when you come back from break, it'll be ready to go.

In Europe the broadcasters use the US network feeds, but have to hire their own analysts to talk while the US tv feed is on commercial. Most have less than half the breaks as US stations.
