No this is not fire wade Phillips thread.
1)Teddy Williams needs to be activated to the 53 roster for Kickoff returns. Did anyone else get goosebumps when they saw Percy Harvin explode through that kickoff. We need speed back there and we need someone who needs to prove something. Put Teddy back there and tell him to run as fast as he can through the seams. I know speed is not everything, but boy it would help to have some back there.
2)Bench barber and use him only for short yardage situations/goaline carries. Incorporate Felix Jones and Tashard Choice into the offense. We have been using the run more often which is great, but choice needs to get 5-7 carries a game.
3)Ball needs to be the 3rd corner and Scandrick needs to be cut. Scandrick is lost every single play. He blames other people and is never there to make a play until someone either has a touchdown or a first down. Ball is a decent 3rd CB and is terrible at safety. That one pass to Moss that they said he broke up, he didn't even get a hand on it, Moss clearly dropped it.
4) Cut Alex Baron and pick up a Field Goal kicker. Not because Buehler misses field goals, but its killing him on his kick offs. I would rather have someone make all the short field goals and have a great kickoff than kill Buehler's leg. We could still bring Buehler in for those 60 yard kicks that never happen.
5) Keith Brooking needs to take a seat to Sean Lee. Sean Lee is intelligent, young, and makes plays. Don't get me wrong I love Brooking, but he sits on the field more than he makes plays. He is not meant to play 75% of the snaps.
6) I actually liked all the play calling this game.
I think if we make these changes we can actually make something happen. We need to beat all of our division rivals and pray that they start to slide in the standings. Right now it looks like the eagles can't do wrong, but there is going to be a QB issue when Vick gets back. How will they handle it? Giants don't scare me one bit. I have a feeling we go and kick their butts and show them who they really are. Skins.... scare me still even though they lost to IND they have a pretty good team.
