I've never used it, but someone said its (Dalals v Denver) showing up as a scheduled game tonight on their website.

1) Is it any good?

2) Do you get picture and sound?

3) I have high speed internet at home, will the picture/sound quality be worth it?

If its ok, I might watch/listen to it on their site then rewatch the broadcast tomorrow.

Any input much appreciated.

So far it was by far the best online game I have been able to watch.

It did not lag and skip. The picture quality is watchable but nowhere near HD of course. The sound matches the picture.

Again I have watched sopcast and a few others over the past couple of years but this was by far the best I have seen.

Just hope it does not bog down if too many people get on it.

I used that site the other day.

On a scale of 1-10

Video: 7
Audio: 10

If you increase the video window you will lose some clarity obviously

I'm trying to watch the Yankee game via the link posted at StoogeTV, but when I click on it I get this error message:

"Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct."

In fact, I get this a lot. Anyone know how to remedy this? Gracias.

Thanks for the input BP. Might check it out rather than drive all over Atlanta looking (hoping) someone gets the game.

Ditto. Hard to follow the action on such a small screen, but the picture quality is very good.

To All: this site is gonna get worse week by week since everybody is passing it around like a joint at woodstock.

To bbgun: download sopcast and/or tvuplayer.

It automatically tries to open all links in WMP. I have to figure out how to "undo" that.

What are you expecting to get for FREE?
The quality is good enough for those unable to see it & that's all that really matters. If you want High Quality, reach into that wallet. :D

It sounds like Windows Media Player is pre-configured to open all media types. Open Windows Media Player and try this:

1. Click on Tools

1WMP.jpg

2. Click Options…

2WMP.jpg

3. Click on the File Types tab

3WMP.jpg

4. Click the Select All button

4WMP.jpg

5. Click all the checkboxes beside each file type listed, which will remove all default file types which WMP will attempt to automatically open on its own.

5WMP.jpg

6. Click on Apply (A) and then OK (B)

6WMP.jpg

When you now try clicking on the link, WMP should not attempt to open it. However, you will want to reset the file types (i.e. re-check the checkboxes) before you try loading video, etc. in WMP—that is, if you want WMP to open them automatically. Keep in mind that if you have any other media players (i.e. RealPlayer, QuickTime, VLC, etc.) on your system, one or more may become 'default' media players and you'll have them attempting to open the file within its program like WMP has. If you'll take similar steps within those programs, it will prevent them from opening the file automatically also.

Hope that helps.

Ive watched the game on channelsurfing.net since last year. Only problem Ive had is that sometimes games are audio only when I tried watching a few basketball games. Never had the same problem with a football game, but Im sure its possible. Quality is good, screen is small. Beggars cant be choosers.

I wasn't home during last week's game, so I had to Tivo it. But I watched it live on Justin.tv (the link provided by Channelsurfing.net) and used the full-screen mode, and the picture was fairly clear even at that size.
