I predict that any players with character issues will slide drastically this year, because there is no end in sight to the labor dispute. This means that coaches and owners cannot help those immature players who need it, and they will regress further without help from their team and their teammates.

Dez Bryant is a prime example of this. He's regressing, despite have matured somewhat over the past year.

I think many reaches will be made in the early rounds for high character guys who have the discipline to still be a good player after an extended lockout.

Yea, Bobby Carpenter and Jacob Rodgers, were great character guys. there was only one problem. neither could play NFL football. you take the best talent like you did with Dez. and let the chips fall where they may. doing it your way will get you to 6 and 10 again.

the so=call character issue is so overrated. see Randy Moss hall of fame numbers.see Michael Irvin, hall of fame numbers. see Charles haley numbers. he was a bad apple too, remember? if the Cowboys go back to going down that road. it will be another 1 playoff win in almost 15 years.

Valuing character highly has worked very nicely for the Spurs.
