After listening to Stephen Jones, I think the Cowboys will be looking to strike gold on again as they did w Dak and look for players with rare character traits. I don't necessarily agree w this line or thinking but it is what I think they will do.

Of all the players who we brought in for visits, are any of them considered really strong character guys? Not just good..but really good? If so, who are those guys?

I've heard that TJ Watt has IT, a real hard worker and a student of the game.

We can add CB T. White to that list.

Yeah I just know the #18 Jersey is a tradition for the LSU player who is the best leader on and off the field...White wore it 2 years in a row.

Yup, I think I am gonna go back and double check the others. A definitive list of guys who we visited with, came from Power 5 schools, team captains, and 4-year players may provide some insight into who they are looking at.

I reluctantly agree that could be a factor....mostly because I don't like Tre White as a player all that much so hopefully they don't weigh "RKG" too much

I have started compiling the info into a spreadsheet and I have to say its been an interesting and educational exercise. I am combining the visit information from Walter Football with some basics from Brugler's guide (projected round, team captains, years played, etc) and basic web searches. You can definitely see a pattern in what they are thinking/planning.

The first two rounds are heavy in the DE and CB area (no surprise) with most "focus" (workouts, etc) on the following players:
T. McKinley
T.J. Watt
F. Moreau
D. Rivers
C. Tankersly
O. Melifonwu

They have also spent time on others in the event (my assumption) that they fall:
D. Barnett
D. Njoku
M. Williams

Other guys that have not had the "attention" as the Top-6 above but are on the radar (private workouts) in the first two rounds:
T. Charlton
G. Conley
C. Harris
C. Samuel
C. Awuzie
T. Basham
K. King
T. Tabor
A. Jackson
Q. Wilson

I could easily see our first two picks coming from the above lists.

I have no inside knowledge but listening to Move the Sticks podcast they seemed to like Quincy Wilson and his maturity. Quincy Wilson also said Maye was the leader in that secondary. Maye was the oldest but that says something.

I have seen him as a mid-2nd to 3rd rounder so we would probably have to target him at 60 if he is there.
