Let's see how our team responds to the last two butt whooping. We have some good people on this team, they way we respond to adversity this week will define the rest of the season. Another bad lose means the team has lost all faith in their staff. A win will put a pep in their step and hopefully we'll get everyone except Zeke back after a 10 day rest and make a push.
If I knew Garrett would be gone if we don't make the playoffs I'd be rooting for that, but since he will probably be here regardless, I'm hoping for the best.

Good man, I'm not there yet. lol. Go Cowboys!

I feel like we are at that stage when it was obvious with Wade that he wasn't the guy for the job. Then we kept him another year and got rid of him when the wheels completely came off.

I didn't know Jason had 15 million left on his deal and as much as Jerry undervalues coaching that is probably enough of a reason for him to give Jason another chance.

He's done though as a coach here and his days are finally numbered. If Jerry wants to see it get painfully more obvious then it already is then we will just have to suffer through it.

I heard pretty much the same things after the Atlanta game.
I did too, but I've experienced very similar situations in my career and have been able to turn things around. Players start doubting themselves when stars get hurt and then someone steps up and the whole momentum swings back. It's up to the staff and team leaders to keep grinding and get the young or weak players through tough times. It's actually a beautiful thing to be a part of when it happens.

Good stuff. On one hand, it's alarming that other teams manage to overcome adversity such as that which we now face. On the other hand, the injuries that we've sustained were bad ones to players that couldn't be replaced by backups. It was plain to see that Philadelphia made some remarkable adjustments to turn things around for them so dramatically in the second half. Or, was it something else?

I can't help but wonder where our adjustments were to thwart their performance being so sorely overwhelming for us after halftime. Something seems to be missing in our ability to make in-game adjustments to counteract that from happening. While there's no doubting that our lack of backup depth is a major problem, the stark difference between our resolve to overcome Philly's adjustments in the second half invites question. Like many here, I'm steadily getting more doubtful about our coaching staff's ability (or inclination) to implement in-game tactical adjustments.

In turn, the players appear to lose resolve in the second half to play with the same intensity that they did before halftime. I think you might very well be onto something when you've suggested the team may be losing faith in the staff. Let's see what gives in the games to follow that might give credence to that idea or otherwise, tend to dispel it. You can't help but wonder what might have occurred amongst those in the locker room to precipitate such a dramatic change in the 2nd half. ;)
