I’m worried about Basham impeding Sam Williams’ progress as it is.

He’s good enough to start in this league yes. They declined his 5th year option. So they likely just like the new guy better and he is their future.

He will be a free agent after this year so it’s a few game rental and he gets a chance to play and earn money

I don't think he fit the 3-4 to begin with....Get him in a 4-3....and see what he can do on 3rd downs.....in passing situations.

He did clear waivers it seems......think teams may be a little scared of his back injury.....but I think it may be something minor.

Id say he is probably equal to Odighizuwa. Id claim him and cut Gallimore. Gallimore doesn't fit and was competing for an active spot with a guy we just cut. He doesnt have a future here, and isnt doing anything in the present
