Chargers' Darren Sproles raises big concerns

Darren Sproles (5-6) is the shortest player on San Diego's roster. He's also a big play waiting to happen.

Sproles has touchdown receptions of 81 and 58 yards, as well as a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown.

He hasn't been overlooked by Dallas' return unit, which surrendered a 79-yard punt return last week against the Giants.

``We've got to get down there and get in his face fairly early and we've got to get some good hits on him,'' Sam Hurd said. ``He's a very strong runner, very low to the ground and he's got good balance. You want to not let him get started, you want to try to take away all cutback lanes and make him be a sideways runner.''

I have watched him since his days at K-State he is a heck of a utility player who you have to account for when he is on the field.

I would be very concerned as well after watching Jacobs rape your defense in screen passing game, and he's not even having that good of season for NY.

Also we have another beast in the backfield named Mike Tolbert who is coming into his own the last few weeks so watch out...

I thought that Sproles was injured?

Nope, our entire backfield is healthy and that's big trouble for the rest of the league...in fact all of our RB's might be even more dangerous as receivers than running it...

Considering how bad they are at running the football, I would say that's a fair assessment.

Totally agree with you there, I was drooling and wanting the cowboys to draft him when he came out in the NFL Draft.

He is very dangerous player as a punt and kickoff returner and as a runner.
