Chargers drafted English, now shaun phillips in trouble again with law, wade interest

ok shaun phillips got arrested again, and this is his 2nd offence with the law, and the chargers drafted english as you all know

do you think the chargers might trade him now or wade would be interested? since wade coached him at the chargers?

Chargers OLB Shaun Phillips was cited for misdemeanor battery after allegedly hitting a security guard in the face at a San Diego bar Saturday.

The incident, reported at 1AM, reportedly happened after a bar brawl. Police claim this was Phillips' second run-in with the law this month. He allegedly "choked and punched" another security guard on April 11. It sounds like he only got a ticket this time, but Phillips needs to be on his toes after San Diego drafted conversion end Larry English 16th overall Saturday.

thats what im thinking, but i thought i would throw it out there, since now philips might face a suspension from the NFL, and since wade basically had him drafted since wade ran the defense when he was the chargers defensive coordinator, so didnt know if something came up, if there would be interest

it was mentioned by jerry jones ( i dont think it was shaun though) but jerry jones said some team called them later in the draft and offered a player for a low round draft choice, jerry said something to the effect they had mild interest, but didnt pursue it, something like that;

well i was thinking, not sure which linebacker position phillips plays, but if he is any good, and can stay out of trouble, maybe we can trade greg ellis for phillips, something along those lines,

Phillips usually plays the weakside OLB spot (Ware's spot). If anything Cowboys need a real complement to Ware on the strongside. Neither of these 2 guys we just drafted are the perfect fit either IMO. Spencer's job is safe, for the time being.
