Chargers LB Shawn Merriman left practice Thursday with Achilles' tendinitis.

He said he will play this Sunday. Ravens LB Bart Scott had a great line about Merriman in last week's game. He told T Jonathan Ogden, who shut Merriman down, "Hey, J.O. Tell Merriman to turn the lights back on."

yeah, pretty big difference when he has to go up against an OT instead of a RB..

course, neither an OT nor a RB were there when he missed that game saving tackle..
