King Dunlap, Chad Rinehart, Jeromey Clary expected to be unavailable Sunday

The Chargers were without three starting offensive linemen to end their last game.

That is likely how they will begin their next one.

Left tackle King Dunlap (concussion), left guard Chad Rinehart (toe) and right guard Jeromey Clary (clavicle) are expected to be sidelined Sunday against the Cowboys, multiple sources said Saturday. To shore up its depth, San Diego signed swing tackle Nick Becton off the practice squad, waiving running back and kick returner Fozzy Whittaker in a corresponding move.

This is where our tackles will need to be disruptive to not allow Rivers to step up and throw it accurately like he does in the pocket. He has no ability to escape the rush because of his lack of mobility. The plan for the defensive line should be to move him off the spot. If they can do this then this game should not be close. Of course stopping the run is first.

He is recovering from a concussion still I believe, I imagine he is fine.

Well with them playing a backup vs a HOF'er I'm sure their TOP PRIORITY is Ware. They do anything and everything possible to not let Ware get to the QB. If not Ware would probably be taking on DT's 7 sacks in a game record lol.

Two weeks ago when abet went out ware nearly wrecked their offense by himself.

I mean, so he just did it two weeks ago.

But I also heard he doesn't get 4th qtr sacks or on the road etc....so.

Not only will the Chargers be missing the services of 3 of their offensive linemen but they'll also be without any help from WR Malcolm Floyd who's currently donning a neck brace. Ouch for him and ouch for the Chargers!

Rivers will be doing a bunch of checking down because of the pressure. Same stuff we saw with Alex Smith and Bradford.

So while we may not end up with 5+ sacks, making SD play conservative while forcing 3 and outs is just as effective.
