Jay Posner, of the San Diego Union Tribune, reports San Diego Chargers DE/LB Shawne Merriman (toe) may not practice Saturday, August 6, after he got stepped on during practice yesterday and injured his toe. Schottenheimer said "it's nothing significant" but that Merriman might need "a day or so" before he can practice again.
