Chargers send CB Davis to 49ers for WR Woods

SAN DIEGO (April 12, 2006) -- The Chargers and San Francisco 49ers swapped disappointing former first-round draft picks, with San Diego getting wide receiver Rashaun Woods in exchange for cornerback Sammy Davis.

That's interesting....69ers have been a draft bust magnet lately. Alex Smith is their next disappointment. Can't say I mind seeing them suck.

Rashaun Woods and Reggie Williams were two WR's that I just knew were gonna tear up the NFL.

In Woods' case, it might actually be a case where the 40 DOES matter. I just don't think he can get any seperation from NFL corners.

Article I read said that SD plans to put him behind Keenan McCardell to becoming an effective WR w/o having pure speed.
