Chargers sign CB Chris Harris, two years, $17m, $7.5m guaranteed

We could've had Harris or Trufant for $10 mill a year or less both on short deals and we didn't get them. Both would've been clear upgrades to our secondary.

This is why I hate the off-season.

We got McCoy. That's a great 2015 signing. It's 2020 though.

That seems like a no brainer signing at that price range. I have a feeling we may be done at CB.

err my bad title is wrong.

Good job by the Chargers.
Btw, I posted the same thing but my thread was moved to some other forum saying this is old news.
But I won't disrespect you like that.
Jerry & company asleep at the wheel as usual. I really hope oil goes to zero and Jerry has to sell the Cowboys. That man has stolen all the joy out of football. Total incompetent and incoherent.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day, Jerry is never right. 25 years years and counting.

People underestimate how much players want to play in a certain locations.

Also, who wants to give that kinda cash to a 31 year old coming off a mediocre season?

What kinda money?

$9 million a year?

Uh..most all of us i think.

Another way to look at it is that drives down the pricetag on @darthseinfeld 's guy Xavier Rhodes.

Would you rather have Rhodes at 10 Million or Byron Jones at 20?

Neither.

Need to get fatter at the CB position too.

Upgrade the fat all around... and we will have an elite defense in no time.

..Chargers building under radar. THey could be the team to beat in AFC this year.
