Chargers Vs Patriots *** Game Thread***

I'd rather have the sore loser on my team. I'm tired of players all happy after wins patting other players on the butt. LT knew that NE had no business winning that game. They lucked out once again.

You got a point there. Remember Jimmy Johnson after a loss? It wasn't a pretty sight, but it rubbed off on his players. Losing was not acceptable. I miss those days.:(

BB is about 6th on the list at best. Lombardi, Landry, Walsh, Brown, Halas were all better.

i dont think so. all them coaches coached teams who were the best team in the league when they were great. ne has never really had a team that was"the best" look at them this yr. they're missing wr's lb'ers, db's dl. belichek is the greatest

The celebration didn't look too excessive to me. I guess going 14-2 then losing the first game is a bummer. LT had a record-breaking season, only to end it like this.
LT was trying to run off the field and they grabbed him, that's what happened.

i can't stand brady and the pats, but by the time to brady retires he will have 4-5 super bowl wins under his belt, and will go down as the best quarterback in history

Rack;1313895 said:
No, he won't. At least not the second part.

Well, if he does win 5 superbowls, what koolaid says has merit. Noone else has done that, and in the age of free agency it is hard to have that kinda dynasty.

bah without tom brady BB doesn't win anything. that guy is amazing.

Exactly.

I didnt get what happened and why they would fool around with LT.

Give him a hand shake and let him go.

LT wears his heart on his sleeve. You could see it in his eyes as the time ticked down. He was burning that he couldn't be on that field and had to watch Brady and the Pats do them in. I'll take 54 LTs to go in Cowboys uniforms and a small coke please. # 54 can take Tuna's place.

The better team, IMO, lost the game. They gave that game to the Pats. That int, then fumble, was huge. That moron punt returner trying to pick the ball up instead of falling on it was huge.

No doubt the Chargers have more talent. Just some stupid mistakes and a couple of bad coaching decisions lost them the game.

Not for nothing but on that int @ 4th and 8 . You have to tell the CB's to knock the ball down if the pass is over 20 yards.
That fumble hurt.

Trying to juice stats and be a hero will do that.

Bellichick is overrated. In his first year, he was saved by some invented "tuck" rule. In this game, he was saved by a BS personal foul that kept a drive alive on 4th down, a fumble on special teams, and the interception and fumble that gave the ball back to the Pats. Of course, he'll get credit for an awesome coaching performance in the media, when it was 90% luck.

Exactly!!!!!!!!! These guys are Pro's, and from what I'm seeing lately is the team concept doesn't exist on most teams. It's big me, and sometimes it comes back to bite you in the A-- ,well you know what I mean.

I know the game is played fast , but he (they) should know better.

I think he was going after the dude that went by their sideline after Brady kneel on the ball.

What if T.O pushed the cameraman last week . They :espn:would be talking about it for weeks. And I don't limit it just to T.O. if anyone did it.

Some reason this SOB gets a pass on being a dink.

Wow.

LT saying they showed ZERO class and it might come from their HEAD COACH.

Ouch.
